Blame Hillary, Says Obama, As He Passes the Buck

Barack Obama is the Steve Urkel of American politics. “Did I do that?” he whines. No, it is not his fault.

If you have not heard, Barack Obama came up with a brilliant plan to fight ISIS. Instead of actually just blowing them up, he decided to spend the time training Syrian rebels. All sorts of people ridiculed his plan. And now, after millions and millions of dollars spent, there are only four or five trained fighters.

This is the Obama government — a few million dollars per rebel trained is like an Obamacare investment. Perhaps these four or five rebels can be brought here to serve as the death panel executioners.

In any event, now that Obama’s plan is officially exposed as the stupidity that most rational people knew it would be, he’s decided yet again to refuse to take ownership of the plan. “Did I do that?” he asks. Then he points at . . . Hillary Clinton.

But the White House says it is not to blame. The finger, it says, should be pointed not at Mr. Obama but at those who pressed him to attempt training Syrian rebels in the first place — a group that, in addition to congressional Republicans, happened to include former Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton.

Barack Obama is a failure, this is his latest failure, and he refuses to take ownership of it, choosing instead to blame others. It is what he does. It is his legacy. But it is delightful to see him throwing Hillary Clinton under the bus.
