'Laugher' curve: Paul Krugman advises US how to avoid Greece-style demise (conservative economics = bad)

Greece is in big trouble, and how does the U.S. avoid the same mistake? Nobel Prize-winning economist Paul Krugman weighs in from Bizarro World:

To me that sounds like curing your health problem with "one self-inflicted shot to the head instead of three to the abdomen."

Krugman's the guy who recommends digging inescapable pits in order to spark the economy, and then when the money's gone criticizes the people who warned against the excavation for not having a plan to fill it back in without burying somebody.
