Jon Stewart comes out of retirement to unload on Trump supporters

Jon Stewart gave America a 10-minute taste Thursday night of what the world might look like if he were still seated behind the anchor desk on Comedy Central's "The Daily Show."

Taking over the "Late Show" desk of former colleague Stephen Colbert, Stewart - in grey T-shirt and similarly grey stubble - unloaded a year's worth of tongue-lashing on Donald Trump supporters like Fox News's Sean Hannity.

"You feel that you're this country's rightful owners," an inflamed Stewart said, staring heatedly into the camera like old times. "There's only one problem with that: This country isn't yours. You don't own it. It never was."

Stewart made his "Late Show" debutearlier this week when he helped Colbert revive his own Comedy Central past in the form of his old "Colbert Report" character.
