The Progressive March to the Future is Destroying America

The progressive march to the future is destroying America. What the Democrats and the progressives are doing behind the scenes is a more frightening and unjustified power grab than Putin's on the Ukraine.
I have been silent the last couple of years because my politics are not in goose step with most of Hollywood. For that matter it is not in step with the GOP, either. I find both parties have done things that are detrimental to America. The GOP more by sins of omission.
I am not a conspiracy theorist, but I have come to believe America is being gutted from the inside, and there are forces letting it happen. Our Congress and Senate are more like good comrades laughing behind the scenes as they perform the biggest shell game and sleight of hand--David Copperfield or Criss Angel would be in awe.
But in spite of the dysfunction of our House and Senate there is a more pervasive danger--and it is the people who are behind the scenes--people who in the dead of night write laws and bills that no one seems to know what the hell is in them. Or decisions that give up America's sovereignty to an organization that has now changed what its initial purpose once was to an institution preparing for a one-world government, The United Nations.
So the freest, most stable nation in the worldgives up the Internet to forces that could advance it being stifled? Does this make sense?
Yes, my friends, The Hunger Games are about to begin.
Saul Alinsky is alive and well in the American government, our media and our halls of education. America is being sliced and diced, and the media sells us our own demise like a Ron Popeil infomercial.
Hey, I'm with Samuel L. Jackson--"wake the f*** up" America.
I loathe the way I see America being turned into something the Founders never intended. I loathe the attack on Judeo-Christian values. We are being led to the slaughter.
I long for the days of Mayberry, USA, The Cosby Show and Make Room for Daddy. I want Opie, Cliff Huxtable and Danny Williams to be role models for our children and not, well, you fill in the blanks.
I long for the days when the exceptional history of America was taught in schools. I long for the days when the Ten Commandments and prayer in school provide a "common core" of national values. I believe the disrespect that is given to faith in our country is one of the major reasons of an increase in mental illness, drug addiction and violence in our schools.
There is chaos and confusion deliberately being perpetrated on our nation and, speaking of common core, this is another dangerous, coordinated Alinksy move on education to create a society of sheep easily led to the slaughter.
Why hasn't the Left screamed out against the persecutions of Christians around the world by radicals? Why hasn't there been an outrage against this?
Do you mean to tell me that a video creates an uproar but there is none over the stifling of religious freedom in certain countries? It has been stated often and we have been laughed at in that America's own freedoms will be used against it. Well, it is happening every day when another absurd ruling comes down.
It happens every day as a population is lobotomized to the true and righteous purpose of America. Everything, everything I was taught in schools is now ass backwards. The educational system in America has been hijacked, and I believe this is a great tragedy that has been orchestrated, and the silent majority scratch their heads--so much is being changed in America so quickly that all are confused.
We are being attacked from the inside on all fronts. I cannot believe I am seeing a time when Russia sees itself as a Christian nation and America is running from it. Alinsky at work again.
I say let's allow more symbols of faith instead of attacking them. Don't take them down. Put them up! Now, I mentioned the GOP's sins of omissions. They must get ahead on issues. They are still behind the culture. There is a new way of expressing issues that have a much better messaging, but they are, in my humble opinion, out of touch.
I believe live and let live, and if someone wants to marry let them! At the same time, I say to atheists and progressives that wrongly interpret the Founders--if a child wants to wear a T-shirt with Christ on his chest in school or a cross displayed on a monument--why must you denigrate someone whose message is peace and someone's right to express their faith?
So while the Left attacks Judeo-Christian values the Right gets hives over the issue of same-sex marriage, thus a divisiveness is created. Look, it is all more nuanced, and I understand this so don't get your knickers in an uproar or whatever the saying is.
I can give you an endless list of things that are destroying the very foundation of America and the reasons; but most of you know them. We are being mismanaged in every aspect, from immigration (which should be frozen for a few years) to the class and racial warfare and a dangerous political correctness that causes more chaos, creating paranoia and fear.
I just had to get this off my chest. I had been thinking of things mounting up and then this morning I got an email that triggered my rant. Last year, there was a vote in the Senate onUN resolution 2117 which lists 21 points, the most interesting being number 11. It calls for member states to support "weapons collection, disarmament." Well, the Senate narrowly passed a measure to stop the U.S. from entering into The United Nation's Arms treaty which would have established an international gun registry!
Ready for the kicker... "on all private guns and ammo."
This was narrowly defeated by a 53-46 vote.
So as we approach the 2014 elections here are the Senators who voted to give your rights away. They must be unseated. I am sure they are all wonderful people, but how can they be sworn into office and have voted the way they did? Are they protecting the Constitution? Do you notice any common attributes? We need a Constitutional Convention to sort this mess out.

These Senators voted to let the UN take our guns. They need to lose their next election. Forty six Senators voted to give your 2nd Amendment rights to the UN.
