Libyan President Mohammed el-Megarif contradicted the Obama Administration’s position that the attacks on the American embassy in Benghazi were spontaneous.
President el-Megarif told CBS News’ Bob Schieffer that he believes the attacks were “pre-planned” and “predetermined.” His statement was followed by that of Ambassador to the U.N. Susan Rice.
