Andy Barr Statement on Congressional Redistricting
Lexington, Ky. – Andy Barr released the following statement regarding the
Congressional redistricting plan that earlier today passed the Kentucky
General Assembly:
“Today, Ben Chandler has turned his back on tens of thousands of his own
constituents by cutting a backroom deal to get rid of them. This brazen
and desperate attempt to avoid accountability for supporting Barack
Obama’s job killing agenda is exactly why the American people are so
disillusioned with politics and career politicians. At the end of the day,
the Chandler-Obama agenda of bigger government, fewer jobs and massive
debt has been a disaster for all of the people of Kentucky, no matter
where they live. I look forward to taking that message to the many new
voters of the Sixth District, and offering a better, more hopeful
alternative.”
