You Knew It Was Coming – Trey Gowdy Officially Requests Hillary’s Server
My sixteen-year-old-son has been asking me for months when someone was going to really do something and get to the bottom of Benghazi.
Well, it looks like we finally have something.
Thank goodness for Trey Gowdy and the House Select Committee investigating this foreign relations fiasco that happened under Hillary’s watch. Today, the Washington Times reports that this committee has formally requested Hillary’s server that she kept in her basement. The committee didn’t just request her emails, which allows her to decide which emails she shows the State Department and, therefore, eventually the world under the Freedom of Information Act.
The committee investigating Benghazi formally requested Friday that Hillary Rodham Clinton turn her email server over to an independent third party so it can be scrutinized to determine whether she and the Obama administration complied with open-records laws.
Committee Chairman Trey Gowdy sent a letter to the former secretary of state’s personal lawyer making the request, which he said only comes after “exhaustive efforts” to get a look at her communications during the time of the 2012 terrorist attack on the diplomatic post in Libya’s second-largest city.
“Though Secretary Clinton alone is responsible for causing this issue, she alone does not get to determine its outcome,” the South Carolina Republican said.
The Democrats are very skilled, and the Clintons are exceptionally skilled at running out the clock and keeping public information away from those who want to see it. The Obama administration is even better at this corrupt game. Hopefully with this news, the truth will finally come out.
I’m holding my breath.
