Looney "Lurch" Kerry

♪“Hiiiigh-way to hell!"♫

On Sunday, John Kerry reacted so harshlyto the "open letter" GOP senators sent to Iran that you'd think Lurch caught the Republicans trying to sabotage his ship-to-shore dinghy:

Secretary of State John Kerry criticized Senate Republicans' recent letter to Iranian leaders, saying the missive contained not only "false information" but that it was "directly calculated to interfere."

When asked whether he would take responsibility for the letter in the multi-party negotiations with foreign leaders over Iran's nuclear program, Kerry said "not on your life."

"I'm not going to apologize for the unconstitutional, un-thought-out action by somebody who's been in the United States Senate for 60-something days," Kerry told CBS News correspondent Margaret Brennan in an interview Sunday on "Face the Nation," referring to the letter's primary author, Sen. Tom Cotton, R-Ark. "That's just inappropriate."

Judging from Kerry's statement in Egypt, Iranian leadership is much more trustworthy. Get a load of this:

President Obama means it when he says, again and again, that Iran will not be permitted to get a nuclear weapon. As you all know, Iran says it doesn’t want a nuclear weapon, and that is a very welcome statement that the Supreme Leader has, in fact, incorporated into a fatwa. And we have great respect – great respect – for the religious importance of a fatwa. And what we are effectively trying to do is translate that into legal language, into everyday language within the framework of a negotiated agreement that everybody can understand, which requires everybody to have certain obligations and ultimately be able to guarantee that Iran’s program, its nuclear program, will be peaceful now and peaceful forever.

Here's the CliffsNotes version:

Look up "gullible" in the dictionary and... you won't find anything because even the definition is busy digging a fallout shelter.

In short, John Kerry considers this a grave threat to global security:

And instead, Kerry would like to err on the side of this:

Whatever -- it's all the fault of climate change anyway, right?
