“We face a very, very brutal enemy.” As rockets fired by Hamas rained down yesterday, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu coolly and calmly described the situation — at one point comparing it to missile attacks on U.S. cities — in a satellite interview with Brit Hume on “Fox News Sunday.” With diplomatic understatement, Netanyahu said  Israel intends to achieve “sustained quiet,” and he is prepared to defend the nation “until it’s achieved.”
