Veteran Confronts Hillary: If I Did What You Did, I’d Be In Prison

During NBC’s Commander In Chief forum, a veteran took Hillary Clinton to task for using a private, unsecured email server during her tenure as secretary of State.

Lt. John Lester said while he was a naval flight officer he had to handle classified information in a certain way or face serious consequences.

“Had I communicated this information not following prescribed protocols I would’ve been prosecuted and imprisoned,” he said. “How can you expect those such as myself who were entrusted with America’s most sensitive information, to have any confidence in your leadership as president when you’ve clearly corrupted our national security?”

In response, Hillary claimed that none of the emails sent and received were marked classified, despite the fact that many of the emails contained such a heading, which she pretended to be ignorant about during an interview with the FBI in July.

She also stated that whenever she did talk about classified information, she did so on a “wholly separate system.”

Her statement doesn’t add up because she never got an official State Department email address while secretary. She used 13 different BlackBerry devices to transmit classified information, some she either lost or misplaced, and none of which she turned over to the FBI.

When asked if the private server she used — which was housed in a bathroom and was less secure than a Gmail account — had ever been hacked, Hillary responded on Wednesday that “anything is possible.”
