The federal government defining what "full-time" employment is should be a huge red flag as to how far off the rails we have gone.
Government should not create rules where working 39.5 hours is anything but a small difference than working 40.0. What if you work 30 hours a week for two separate employers?
Are you really not working full time, but someone that works 40 hours for one employer is?
The government should be neutral on these questions because when they are not, they do far more harm than good. Of course, that does not appeal to those that feel the compulsive need to "help" and "fix" things that the feel are not the way they should be based on their value judgments.
The democrat party lock on women, hispanics and even blacks has been broken. Now bring these people into this big republican tent and let's pull our country back from the edge of the abyss.
