Leaked UN Study: 15-Year 'Pause' in Global Warming

Leaked UN Study: 15-Year 'Pause' in Global Warming

on Sun, 8 Sep 2013

A report leaked from the UN Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) to the Daily Mail shows that the world has entered a period of global cooling, including a 60 percent upswing in ocean ice from last year to this year, almost a million square miles. Many global warming advocates predicted that the Arctic would have no ice by 2013. The study shows instead that global warming has “pause[d]” since 1997. Governments standing behind the IPCC want major redlining of the study to attempt to explain the global cooling so as to preserve the argument for man-made climate change. The IPCC still says that it retains “95 percent confiden[ce]” that global warming is anthropogenic. The IPCC now states that climate change models predict a 15 year period of global cooling.
