The departing government has announced a "peaceful transition," but it looks as if members of Obama's administration is digging holes in "common ground," shrouded by smoke from the American flag burnt by their not so "patriots first" camp.
Democrats were big on diagnosing soldiers and veterans with PTSD and yanking weapons from the most deserving hands. It's only fair to say that right now, the left seems to suffer from some kind of Post Obama Stress Disorder. Should we consider that, according to their own prescription, "persistent disorientation and anger" make them "potentially dangerous" candidates for deweaponization?
The first symptom of Post Obama Stress Disorder could be called "Grandiosis," and it clearly manifests itself in Dianne Feinstein's "warning on Trump judicial nominees."
Evidently, Senator Feinstein believes she is some kind of royal figure who might grant an audience to President Trump, on condition that his ideas correspond with her agenda:
When President-elect Trump is willing to support responsible policies and nominees, I'll hear him out, but this committee has a vital role to protect the Constitution and scrutinize policies, senior officials and judges very carefully, and that's what we intend to do.
Senator Feinstein issued yet another warning: "We simply won't stand aside and watch the tremendous successes achieved over the past eight years be swept away or allow our nation's most vulnerable populations to be targeted."
Incoming message to Big Giant Head: The "tremendous success" was a flop, and American citizens rejected leftist "me, myself, and my pets" politics.
Some left-wingers suffering from power withdrawal symptoms are throwing spectacular tantrums and proclaiming a state of war amid the "peaceful transition." Democrat congressman Ted Lieu for example proudly announced on Twitter: "I just became a monthly donor to ACLU.Because the RESISTANCE to any unconstitutional crazy shit from President Trump begins now."
Both above-mentioned California Democrats seem to additionally suffer from left-sided myopia and selective amnesia – they had no problems with unconstitutional antics of their administration and veteran homelessness in their state. At present, they seem to cope pretty well with ongoing harassmentof veteran whistleblowers.
Well, we must give it to them: they were probably too busy. Senator Feinstein was trying to free America from the right to bear arms, and Ted Lieu, who is representing California's 33rd Congressional District, worked hard to earn CAIR's "Excellence in Leadership" award.
Senate Minority Leader Harry Reid, who considers that "[t]he election of Donald Trump has emboldened the forces of hate and bigotry in America," and Barbara Boxer, who deplores "the system where the winner can lose," clearly did not get the message from the "deplorables."
It would be logical if a departing administration notorious for an unprecedented spending spree had some pre-new prez jitters. Critical evaluation of vote-costing actions would be a natural behavioral spin-off. But the only "natural" and uniquely logical explanation for the soon to be ex-reigning elite is limitless arrogance and a preposterous sense of entitlement. The remorseless "untouchables" hubristically believe they are entitled to lack of accountability and have the right to bark orders to the new president and his subordinates.
Some members of the leftist gentry are overtly and furiously waving the hammer and sickle. Others seem ready to bury the hatchet…in America's back.
Media-wise, the left still relies heavily on good ol' gaslighting and crazy-making . The only nonviolent passage they opt for is harmonious landing on golden parachutes. Meanwhile, their joke about "peaceful transition" is going down like a lead balloon.
