National security, Russian President Vladimir Putin, health concerns and gaffes dominated headlines until today as Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump continue their offbeat march to Nov. 8. Clinton maintains a slight edge over her opponent, according to a new Washington Post-ABC News poll. She leads Trump 46 percent to 41 percent.
Voter turnout will be key for both candidates. Among Trump supporters who are registered to vote, 93 percent say they are absolutely certain to show up on Election Day, compared to 80 percent of Clinton backers.
• With that in mind, the Obamas are hitting the campaign trail on behalf of Clinton to remind the public about voter registration deadlines. The president, whose approval rating is at 58 percent, will speak Tuesday in Philadelphia, and the first lady will be in Northern Virginia on Friday.
• The candidates attended a memorial service Sunday at Ground Zero in remembrance of the Sept. 11 attacks. Clinton left the event early after feeling overheated, according to her campaign. A video posted to Twitter shows Clinton nearly fell as she struggled to get into her van before departing for her daughter’s apartment. Her campaign later announced she had been diagnosed with pneumonia Friday.

A video shared on Twitter shows Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton being held up by her staff and helped into a van as she leaves the 9/11 memorial service because she was feeling "overheated."
