It's very interesting to note that liberal Democrats are obsessed with justice. They talk about racial justice, economic justice, and environmental justice. Every issue is framed as a matter of justice. This means that these groups are entitled to a say in government, that their rights must be respected, that government must respond to their concerns. And by the strangest coincidence liberal Democrats in government are the only persons equipped to determine where, how, and why injustice has arisen and how to correct it. And it always involves spending your tax dollars to employ their supporters in government jobs you pay for. This helps them keep their political power and campaign donations flowing.
But somehow the issue of citizenship justice has not come up yet. Citizens in the U.S. are tired of illegal immigrants getting subsidized to go to college, have free health care, social security benefits, subsidized housing, and numerous other benefits, all at the expense of citizens.
Illegal immigration is only possible because the rights of citizens are being taken away. For example, only citizens can vote, yet many states have allowed illegal immigrants to obtain state IDs and drivers licenses. Sanctuary states not only allow illegal immigrants to vote, they want them to vote and set up rules, having the power of law, to enable them to vote. Every illegal immigrant who votes, takes a vote away from a citizen who is legally entitled to vote. This means that the speech of citizens, their voice in elections, is illegally and unconstitutionally taken away by government.
Illegal immigrants also deprive citizens of the state services and benefits to which they are entitled and for which they pay with taxes. Money that goes to illegal immigrants doesn't go to citizens and their families.
At some point citizens need to speak out and demand some citizenship justice; that they, as citizens of the U.S., are supposed to be receiving absolute respect from the government and to have some say in whether benefits should go to illegal immigrants. Right now the government, particularly in Democrat-run sanctuary cities and states, have given themselves the exclusive power to decide where tax dollars are spent; what benefits go to illegal immigrants. This is a violation of the concept of the consent of the governed.
Of course, this entire scheme proves that liberal Democrats really want illegal immigrants in their cities so their biggest campaign contributors, government union members, can keep funding their campaigns. And of course they won't admit that. They rationalize their violation of immigration law with the ideology that we need to treat illegal immigrants "humanely", that they are people too. Somehow they don't explain why they are not just as human in their native countries. Never mind, the more immigrants there are, the more the classrooms are filled with students, whose very existence supports the biggest campaign contributors in states; the public sector teacher unions.
But citizens are people too. They also deserve humane treatment. But in the mix the rights of citizens are intentionally ignored. Not only do their children lose places at state universities but they are forced to subsidize the places taken by those who are not in the country legally.
What citizens need, what Trump should propose, is a citizens' bill of rights. Government at all levels justifies its power to tax by asserting that residents of an area need its state and local government to provide police and fire protection, good roads, sewer and water, and so on. Citizens have the right to safety. Yet the Kate Steinle murder is proof that illegal immigrants are being immunized from prosecution by the very liberal Democrats who take your money to protect you.
Citizens also have the right to not be called racist if they assert their rights. It is very interesting that those people who assert the rights of illegal immigrants are quick to bully citizens by calling them names, characterizing them as racist, and trying to suppress their right to free speech.
It appears that racism accusations carry more weight than citizenship rights.
Citizens and their speech are portrayed as a threat to the freedom of others. This is an odd twist of American values since illegal immigrants who are convicted of felonies are a far greater threat and anyone who speaks about that is subject to intimidation and harassment. Democrats don't want citizens to have rights. They only protect the rights of non-citizens.
This disrespect and disenfranchisement of citizen residents and citizen voters was created by liberal Democrats. They are the ones who violate Federal Immigration Law and push illegal immigrant children onto taxpayers throughout the nation. They have no respect for citizens. The figure they have the minority vote wrapped up since they have forced minorities into being dependent upon government. All the black ghettoes and Hispanic barrios have been created by, and are controlled by, liberal Democrats.
Democrats act as though citizens are a threat to them. To disarm them from being a threat they take away their votes by allowing illegal immigrants to vote. And if some women are murdered in the process, oh well, you can't cook an omelet without breaking some eggs. And in the meantime they build up the strength of illegal immigrants.
The great weakness of this scheme is that it is illegal and morally wrong. As soon as voters wise up, it will begin to weaken. As soon as Hispanics realize they are being exploited, as soon as blacks in ghettoes with terrible school systems realize Democrats keep them there by banning school choice, they will begin to look for alternative politicians. It has already started. There is nothing inevitable about the exploitation of minorities, it can be stopped just as it was started. The only thing that is inevitable is that as long as minorities are controlled by Democrats their lives will never improve.
President Obama, voted into office as the great hope of minorities, has only made their economic situation worse and has done nothing to change the public education system. This is because he is part of the vast, national Democratic Party machine and was put in office to support it.
Citizenship justice must become a new movement. Voters and citizens need to reassert their rights. The Founders of the nation never imagined this would happen, they never imagined how laws would be broken by government, how gerrymandering and ideology would create benefits transferring the wealth of citizens to those favored by the political elites. But it has happened and it is destroying the nation as well as the economy.
