Trying to find some way to appear as a populist, Hillary Clinton’s campaign tweeted a message aimed at getting fans to cheer her purportedly tough stance against the financial sector

But her choice of words backfired in a big way.

Clinton’s tweet was fashioned after a statement she made during the Democrat debate.

“There should be no bank too big to fail and no individual too big to jail,” Clinton said during the first hour of the last Democrat debate. Her campaign used the comment as fodder for a tweet that night.
