We don't know yet if Vice President Joe Biden will run for President, but when it comes to support from his current boss, consider it locked up.
BREAKING: White House spokesman says Obama's choice of Biden as VP indicates president's view of Biden's capability for presidency.
— Reuters Politics (@ReutersPolitics) August 24, 2015
For months there has been speculation about whether Biden will enter the race as Hillary Clinton's poll numbers continue to nose dive, not to mention her email trouble and being the subject of an FBI criminal investigation.
It's no secret the Obamas and the Clintons have had a rocky relationship over the years, but if Obama endorses Biden over Clinton, the question is whether he'll follow up an endorsement with his campaign infrastructure from 2008 and 2012. That, combined with the grassroots, populist support for Bernie Sanders, would be enough to permanently stop Clinton's "inevitable" run.
