Obama on the jihad killing of 4 Marines: A heartbreaking circumstance

In Chattanooga, four U.S. Marines were gunned down in a jihad attack by an Islamic man who didn't properly observe the "gun free zone" sign.

"A heartbreaking circumstance" sounds like the title of a Lifetime movie, but it's certainly not an accurate way to describe the murder of four Marines, or the attack at Fort Hood and others. Michelle M. called them "systemic assassinations of our troops,"which is more like it.

Of course, the White House couldn't go into too much detail about the shooter or risk looking a little silly, having tweeted this an hour earlier:

It's amazing how fast the WH spin machine can go about either assigning blame or ignoring it depending on how a situation fits their political agenda. If the shooter had been an NRA member, Tea Party supporter -- or worst of all, a "climate change denier" -- would Obama have described the atrocity as "a heartbreaking circumstance"?

The unsettling bottom line: To paraphrase Mark Levin, our soldiers aren't trusted with guns at military facilities but the Obama administration trusts Iran with nukes. This is the world we now live in. Sleep well.
