Time for John Kerry to eat crow!

During the 2012 campaign, you might recall how the Obama campaign, including John Kerry, all got a hearty laugh out of Mitt Romney's position on Russia:

Mr. Kerry fired back, criticizing Mr. Romney for opposing the New START treaty which limited U.S. and Russian nuclear arsenal and said the former Massachusetts governor had the “preposterous notion that Russia is our ‘No. 1 geopolitical foe.’”

“Folks: Sarah Palin said she could see Russia from Alaska; Mitt Romney talks like he’s only seen Russia by watching Rocky IV,” Mr. Kerry said, referencing a cold war era movie about a boxing match between Rocky Balboa and a Russian boxer.

They even made a poster:

Returning to the real world in 2014, here's John Kerry today:

Secretary of State John Kerry said Tuesday that Russia has repeatedly lied to him about its activities in Ukraine where pro-Russian rebels are fighting national forces.

"Russia is engaged in a rather remarkable period of the most overt and extensive propaganda exercise that I've seen since the very height of the Cold War," Kerry told a Senate Appropriations subcommittee. "And they have been persisting in their misrepresentations — lies — whatever you want to call them about their activities there to my face, to the face of others on many different occasions."

Somebody transmit that information to Vladimir and deploy State's new logo!

Kerry's personal chef plans to serve him the required crow but hopes it's mistaken for foie gras.
