President Obama dedicated his State of the Union address to illegal aliens, college students and communist Cuba. In other words, all those imaginary supporters he claims to be hearing from ever since the actual American electorate denounced him, his party and his policies in last year’s beat-down election.

Remember the petulant temper tantrum he threw in his press conference the day after the blowout election, in which his Democrats lost control of the Senate and got pushed to nearly historic levels of obscurity in the House?
“To everyone who voted, I want you to know that I hear you,” he said.
At that point he may as well have rolled his eyes and made a duck-quacking hand gesture in the air. Apparently all he heard from those American voters was, “Blah, blah, blah, blah.” Or, maybe the adult voice in Charlie Brown cartoons.

Guess it is possible that in his towering hubris, Mr. Obama heard the actual American voters and simply decided to dismiss them as the uneducated, dumb, unworldly racists he seems to think we are.
Yes, that was it. Remember? He also added: “To the two-thirds of voters who chose not to participate in the process yesterday, I hear you, too.”
Talk about a bear on the loose. Talk about going rogue.
Since then, Mr. Obama has gone on a monarchical rampage, granting amnesty to millions of illegals, normalizing relations with communist authoritarian government of Cuba and unveiling a new budget-busting plan to give free community college to anyone who wants it. And now he is doubling down on cynical class warfare with his proposal to punish the wealthy with $320 billion in new taxes.
His disdain for Congress in general — and the House of Representatives in particular — has reached new zeniths. He endlessly blames Congress for all his woes.
Mr. Obama issued his executive order on amnesty, accusing Congress of failure to act. Then when Congress acts, he vows to veto the legislation.
You do not have to be a constitutional law professor to realize how dangerous his fierce disdain for the legislative branch is. Congress as a whole was designed to be the people’s check on the executive branch. And the voice closest of all to the American people was the House of Representatives, which now suffers the bulk of Mr. Obama’s venom.
If you have any doubt about where President Obama’s loyalties now lie, just look at the token guests he perched in the House gallery for him to advertise during his address.
Alan Gross. He most certainly was not one of the American voters in last year’s election that the president claims to have heard. That’s because Mr. Gross was sitting in a squalid Cuban prison, just one victim of the brutal regime Mr. Obama now embraces.
