In the print edition of Politico, columnist Roger Simon asks, "Will the Real Hillary Clinton Please Stop Talking?"
It's a provocative title for a piece on someone who might be the first female president of the United States. So provocative, in fact, that Politico changed the title for the online edition of the column. "Can Hillary Clinton be herself and still win?" the title now reads.
In the piece, Simon wonders whether Hillary can just be Hillary or whether Hillary has to play the part of a presidential candidate.
Good drama is always great to watch. But I think Hillary Clinton feels about as free and easygoing as a tightly wound watch," Simon concludes.
"She claims she no longer has to be 'really careful' about what she says. I have difficulty believing that. And, if it is true, I have difficulty believing it will get her to the presidency."
