NOVAK: Giving thanks for American Exceptionalism - Washington Times

NOVAK: Giving thanks for American Exceptionalism - Washington Times Jay Leno agrees with Treasury Sec. Timothy Geithner that Congress shouldn’t be the one to decide how much money the U.S. can borrow. Sort of. In Tuesday’s “Tonight Show” monologue, host Leno weighed in on Geithner’s desire to eliminate Congressional limits on borrowing: “Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner says that Congress should lift the debt ceiling to infinity. Geithner argued that it shouldn’t be Congress’ job to place limits on how much we can borrow. "And, you know something, he’s right: that’s China’s job.” On Monday, CNSNews.com published an article, “Treasury Secretary Geithner: Lift Debt Limit to Infinity,” reporting Geithner’s call to eliminate the debt ceiling.
