Romney Ad Hits Obama for Raising Middle Class TaxesA

Romney Ad Hits Obama for Raising Middle Class Taxes A new ad from Romney and the RNC:  The ad's narrator says: Who will raise taxes on the middle class? Barack Obama and the liberals already have. To pay for government-run healthcare, you’ll pay higher taxes and more for your medicine. And their plan includes $1 trillion in higher taxes, even on the middle class. Mitt Romney and common-sense conservatives will cut taxes on the middle class, and they'll close loopholes for millionaires.  Obama and his liberal allies? We can't afford four more years. This spot is the first Romney ad responding to the Obama campaign's barrage of ads that falsely claim Romney would raise taxes on the middle class. It's a pretty good ad, but it also highlights one challenge Republicans face when campaigning against Obamacare. The ad says that Obama already has raised taxes, so voters might think if they haven't felt the tax hikes they're not affected. But most of the tax hikes Obamacare haven't kicked in yet. Republicans need to convey the fact that Obamacare is hanging over Americans' heads right now and will come crashing down after the election.
