Mitt, on points - NYPOST.com

Mitt, on points - NYPOST.com

That was no heavyweight bout last night between Barack Obama and Mitt Romney — more like a couple of welterweights jabbing away at each other.
But give Romney the victory by decision — because, unlike the president, he scored on substance rather than style.
That’s an achievement in itself, given the strong headwinds the GOP candidate faced.
For one thing, this was a different and more effective Obama than in their first debate — more aggressive and confrontational.
Obama stole a leaf from Joe Biden’s playbook and repeatedly interrupted Romney.
Moreover, the debate was held in a liberal Democratic bastion, so it’s no surprise the questions were all skewed from the left.

Romney also was up against moderator Candy Crowley, who blatantly contradicted one of his answers — on the Benghazi debacle — even though she was flat-out wrong.
As was Obama, who finally, five weeks later, accepted the responsibility he’s so long evaded for the security shortfall at the consulate.
But he and Crowley dissembled (to put it mildly) when they insisted the president had called the deaths of four Americans a “terrorist attack” the following day.
