Romney calls Friday's tepid jobs report 'The Hangover' - Washington Times

Looking to kneecap President Obama’s post-convention bounce, Mitt Romney said Friday that the new jobs report is another reminder that the Democrat has failed to fulfill the promises that he laid out on the campaign trail four years ago.
Released less than 24 hours after Mr. Obama accepted his party’s presidential nomination, the report from the Bureau of Labor Statistics showed another month of slow growth in August, when the nation added 96,000 jobs, pushing the unemployment rate down from 8.3 percent to 8.1 percent — a dip that is at least partially tied to the 368,000 people that dropped out of the workforce.
“If last night was the party, this morning is the hangover,” Mr. Romney, a teetotaler, said in a statement. “For every net new job created, nearly four Americans gave up looking for work entirely. This is more of the same for middle class families who are suffering through the worst economic recovery since the Great Depression.”
