Long Overdue!

The Senate voted 96-3 to pass the STOCK Act, which would ban insider trading for members of Congress, their staffs and top executive branch policymakers. The bill now heads to the House, where Republicans are expected to try to toughen the legislation.
to further limit congressional perks.

The Senate action puts pressure on House Republicans to pass similar legislation to quell allegations of congressional self-dealing at a time when Congress’s approval rating is at an all-time low.

Too many Congressmen and Senators have gotten rich from exempting themselves from insider trading laws!
