Farook family values
San Bernardino terrorist Syed Farook was born in the United States to a father admitted as a Muslim immigrant, bringing into this country the execrable seed of Jew-hatred, a foundational part of Islam. Syed Farook's family have claimed they were unaware of what he was up to and said they were "shocked" by what he did. (What he did = mass slaughter in the name of Allah.) But whether they knew anything or not, whether they were genuinely shocked or not, there remains a dark, unifying connection throughout the family: Jew-hatred.
This sickening vein that runs through Islamic teachings was expressed by Farook's father during a recent interview with an Italian newspaper. Breitbart reports:
My son said that he shared [IS leader Abu Bakr] Al Baghdadi's ideology and supported the creation of the Islamic State. He was also obsessed with Israel.
I told him he had to stay calm and be patient because in two years Israel will not exist anymore. Geopolitics is changing: Russia, China and America don't want Jews there any more. [sic] They are going to bring the Jews back to Ukraine. What is the point of fighting? We have already done it and we lost. Israel is not to be fought with weapons, but with politics. But he did not listen to me, he was obsessed."
Damn that little Syed! If he would have listened to his father and been patient, before too long, the Jews in Israel would be shipped off to Ukraine, and Israel would cease to exist. There's just nothing like a family that can gather 'round the table and share their hate for Jews.
Jew-hatred is a central tenet of Islam. Yet few in the West bother to acknowledge it. They couldn't care less. Including far too many Jews.
But many Muslims know.
Here are the voices of three brave, outspoken ex-Muslims on the subject of Islamic Jew-hatred.
Bosch Fawstin spoke about it during a Breitbart interview earlier this year:
Almost all of the women in my generation were beaten by their husbands. There was strong admiration for Hitler in the household, because he killed more Jews than anyone. That's why I refer to Hitler as Islam's favorite infidel. They forgive him because he killed more Jews than anyone. We were "Moderate Muslims," but there was still hardcore misogyny and Jew-hatred in my community.
Wafa Sultan has addressed the issue of Islamic Jew-hatred many times. Here is an excerpt from an article originally published at the Jerusalem Post (where it is no longer available) and reprinted at Free Republic.
…"it is in our teachings…We are against the Jew[s] because they are Jewish."….
…As a young girl in the small Mediterranean town of Banias, Syria, she was taught by her teachers to hate Jews, particularly Zionists. She recalls having to dress up as Golda Meir and being instructed to look ugly and employ a terrible voice. (snip)
Even as an adult, during her first week in America in 1989, she and her husband, who goes by the American name David, went shopping at a Los Angeles shoe store. When they discovered that the salesman was from Israel, she immediately fled the store barefoot with her shoes dangling in her hands.
Her husband, who is also from Syria, told her that her reaction was stupid.
"I was raised to be scared of them (the Jews). 'They are not human. They are just a bunch of criminals,'" she was told. "So it's not easy to change yourself overnight."
The more she dealt with the Jewish people, however, the more she realized that there was something terribly wrong in the way she was raised and taught.
Nonie Darwish, when discussing Mohammed's journey from Mecca to Medina and his shift in perspective on Jews from positive to one of murderous hatred, states:
Hating Jews is so part of Islam, so important to Islam, because if you don't hate Jews, if Jews are human beings, then Mohammed is an assassin…That's why killing Jews and hating Jews is such an important part of Islam…It strikes at the heart of their prophet, whether he's credible, or not.
Darwish asserts that Jew-hatred is central to the survival of Islam and that if Islam were to shift this perspective and see Jews as human, that would be the end of Islam, because Mohammed would be seen as a killer of human beings (video here).
In a 2012 article at AT titled "Why Muslims must hate Jews," Darwish further elaborates:
Recently, a Pakistani religious leader, Pirzada Muhammad Raza Saqib Mustafai, said: "When the Jews are wiped out ... the sun of peace [will] begin to rise on the entire world." The same preaching is routinely done not only by clerics, but by politicians -- in Iran, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, and elsewhere. This is not just Ahmedinijad; it is at the heart of Islamic theology that world peace will be established only when all the Jews are wiped from the earth. But few people in Western media are alarmed by this kind of rhetoric or care to expose this dreadful dark side of Islam's obsession with Jew-hatred.
I do not believe that one has to be an authority on human behavior or group thinking to find out the obvious pathology in Islamic Jew-hatred. It is time for all of us to uncover and expose this atrocity against the Jewish people. We owe that to humanity and the truth.
…Even when I was a Muslim, I believed that the one-sided story against Jews by Islam was enough to justify all the killing, terror, lies, and propaganda by Islamic leaders against Jews. To the average Muslim, routinely cursing Jews in mosques feels normal and even holy! (snip)
Darwish states: "Without Jew-hatred, Islam would self-destruct."
Apparently, Farook's father is doing his part to ensure that doesn't happen any time soon.
